lycra kneepads

lycra kneepads   Ask any experienced female wrestler, she’ll tell you that joints like knees, elbows and even wrists carry a high risk of injury in wrestling and they’re almost guaranteed to come down with various problems over the years, even if direct injury is somehow avoided. Knees are at an especially high risk, and as they say, talking care of your knees should be considered a high priority task, since you’ll miss them badly when they’re gone.
While the ankles are thoroughly protected by the boots, the knees are pretty much exposed at all times.

kneepad    The thin film of pantyhose may make your legs look good and it may help with matburn and a tad with thermal insulation, but when it comes to protection, it offers none. The way to deal with the problem is to wear kneepads. The same goes of course for the elbows too. Knee and elbow pads are manufactured in a wide range of styles and colors to suit all tastes. For freestyle wrestling, the Brute kneepads featured in the pic above are ideal. They’re made of shiny nylon-lycra, therefore they integrate well with the rest of the wrestler’s outfit. These kneepads work just as well for pro wrestling too, although some of the pro ladies may be a tad more image –conscious than freestyle wrestlers, thus they may opt for different styles.

The above pictured nylon lycra kneepads offer ideal coverage and protection of course, but that coverage may be a little too much for some. For those who worry that freestyle kneepads are not feminine enough for them, protection can be achieved in different ways too. There are kneepads out there, like the ones pictured below, which are especially made for lady pro wrestlers. They’re small, and they come in glittery/glossy silver, gold or other metallic colors, and they look as girly as it gets.
Regardless of which type of knee/elbow padding you opt for, we always recommend that you wear such protection. Including some similarly fashioned wrist guards is never a bad idea either.
Ladies pro wrestling is a high impact sport, therefore one should always go the extra mile protection-wise. There are always options out there regardless of the fashion statement you’re pushing.
