Let’s make one thing clear about these shiny nylon-lycra shorts that we’re talking about: we do not mean the biker-type ones which feature thick padding on their bottom. There are simple, padding-less nylon lycra shorts out there too, which are suited for a variety of athletic activities and which do an awesome job of accentuating the curves of the wearer. As such, nylon lycra shorts are wonderfully suited for ladies’ wrestling too. They can essentially be worn in two ways: alone, with a sports-top completing the attire, or under a leotard in which case they counter the riding-up tendencies of the leotard and they cover the bottom of the wearer too, who can thus display a thong leotard-look without crossing the line of modesty.
What makes these nylon-lycra shorts great for women’s wrestling? First of all: they offer great freedom of motion. Given the stretching abilities of the material, the wearer can execute any kind of move in these shorts without feeling restricted in any way.

Secondly: they absolutely keep things within the boundaries of decency and they are pretty much fail-safe when it comes to wardrobe malfunctions.
Thirdly: they do not ruin the glittery/glamorous look of the lady wrestler through the coverage they provide. The shiny nylon/lycra material clings to the wearer’s body like a second skin, following and accentuating every curve. These shiny nylon-lycra shorts can be combined with pantyhose too. Combining black shorts with shiny black pantyhose creates a flattering and yet quite unrevealing look.
Lady wrestlers whom we have seen resort to the wearing of such shorts were Terry Power, Reggie Bennett and scores of others whom we weren’t quite able to identify by name.
