Lady Victoria has been one of the cornerstones of independent ladies’ wrestling for a good few decades now. Respected by most and hated by some, she has been a true innovator in more ways than one. She revolutionized the independent wrestling scene through her invention of the custom female wrestling matches. She is currently active too, in great shape and she has her own women’s wrestling company called WOWW (World of Women Wrestlers). We here at www.women-wrestling.org have had the pleasure of talking with Lady V several times, and she is indeed dead serious about her wrestling, after all, that’s what she lives off of to this day.
Like many other ladies who went on to make it big in wrestling, Lady Victoria started out in body-building. All it takes is one glimpse at her still impressive physique to tell that she has indeed been very successful at that too.
She got her professional wrestling training at Al Snow’s wrestling school in Lima, OH. She currently lives in Tipp City, OH and she has a wonderful wrestling ring of her own where she organizes events/individual bouts. She is highly professional in her attitude. Over the years, she’s made many friends in female wrestling circles (like Angel Williams and Vanessa Harding) and she’s developed a few grudges as well: Malia Hosaka had apparently tried to hurt her in a match and since then there has been no love lost between the two ladies.
As an active lady wrestler, Lady V has piled up quite a few title belts over the years. She’s struck up a partnership with Ladies In Combat of the UK too, and currently she is the sole distributor of their videos in the US.
At 5’3” and in an awesome shape, Lady Victoria is a natural heel in the ring, a role which she indeed prefers, despite the fact that she can sell at least as well as she can dish it out.
Needless to say, she is extremely credible as a heel, and given her strength and agility, she can successfully take on women as well as men in the ring. Her wrestling experience is nothing to scoff at either. She’s traveled the US for years, and she’s helped many a lady wrestler to make it to the big leagues. In 1999 – like most respectable female wrestlers of the era – she went on a tour of Japan with Michiku Pro and Neo Ladies, racking up valuable experience and gaining an entirely different insight into the sort of attitude that turns wrestlers into true professionals. She had a brief movie-stint as well that same year.
Lady Victoria currently produces her own videos which she sells through her site http://www.ladyvictoria.com. Check it out and do some shopping, some of her videos are positively superb, and her roster is a colorful and extremely talented one too.
Anyone who steps into the ring with Lady Victoria risks ending up in this position at the end of the bout
Lady Victoria dominating…as usual…
