Louise Lockwood

Louise Lockwood

Louise Lockwood (probably only her ring name since her sister’s is Michelle Madison) has wrestled since the age of 14. She has always been attracted to combat sports and when she gave pro wrestling a go she knew immediately it was something she wanted to do. Her hometown of Manchester, England, has been a hotspot for ladies wrestling and she found fertile ground there for her pro and amateur wrestling ambitions. Despite her tender age when she first stepped into the squared circle, Louise hasn’t really gone through the jobber stage that most of the lady wrestlers experience here in the US at the beginning of their careers. She has always been a dominant force on the mat as well as in the ring, and she’s quite undefeated as an amateur wrestler to this day.

It didn’t take long for Louise to secure several British wrestling titles and to start her own wrestling company known as Ladies in Combat.
Wrestling has taken her all over the world: she wrestled in Mainland Europe, in the US, where she struck a cooperation deal with Lady Victoria and in South Africa. She has been featured on a few television shows too. She’s a highly talented technical wrestler, her favorite holds are intricate submission moves like the Mexican Ceiling and the surfboard and she likes to render her opponents utterly helpless through the use of various sleeper holds.

One thing that we really appreciate about Louise Lockwood is the way she keeps focused on the old-school British wrestling style. Through her in-ring moves, demeanor and classic attire, she has grown into the top representative of the old-school British style of ladies pro wrestling. She’s also a force to reckon with on the competitive women’s wrestling scene.
If you’re in the US, you’ll be able to find and purchase most of Louise’s pro (and amateur) wrestling matches from Lady Victoria’s store.
