WW: When did you get into pro wrestling and what was it that drew you to the sport?
Thunderkitty: I watched it on and off as I grew up..and the main thing that drew me to the sport was that it was colorful and fun but also athletic. I think wrestling is the greatest sport in the world.

WW: What was your first ever pro wrestling experience like? Did it make you doubt the choice you’d made?
Thunderkitty: My very first week of training was pretty brutal. Lots and lots of cardio and grappling training. After the very first day of training I could barely get out of bed the next day!

WW: What was the highlight, the peak of your professional career up until now?
Thunderkitty: I was a part of the XPW ten-year reunion show. That was a lot of fun.

WW: What is your favorite wrestling hold and what do you like about that particular hold?
Thunderkitty: A good camel clutch will usually do the trick.

WW: Do you prefer to win a match via a pinfall or via a submission? Do you reckon a submission win is more impressive than a pinfall one in any way?
Thunderkitty: Either way is fine with me! I can't really say that one is better than the other because the finish you use can vary depending on your opponent, what body part you're working, or even just taking advantage of someone else's mistake!

WW: What is your wrestling style/in-ring persona/gimmick?
Thunderkitty: My in ring persona is more of a throwback type of gimmick. I was heavily influenced by a lot of classic women's wrestlers from back in the day and I really wanted to pay homage to that. Also, I think it's good not to stray too far from the person you really are when it comes to your gimmick. Sometimes I do feel like maybe I was born in the wrong era =P.

WW: Who was the opponent you enjoyed wrestling the most and why?
Thunderkitty: hmm..So far I would have to say either Amanda or Christina Von Eerie.

WW: What’s your preferred wrestling attire?
Thunderkitty: I prefer a one-piece singlet and tights! It's classic and comfortable!

WW: I saw you wore the classic tights/leotard combo in some of your matches. It’s always refreshing to see someone go for that old-school look. Is that getup something you plan on wearing more in the future?
Thunderkitty: Absolutely. I think it suits me.

WW: How do you prepare for your matches, and generally speaking: how do you train for the high impact in-ring moves that pro wrestling is all about?
Thunderkitty: Well you have to train.. You have to train your body to absorb the impact properly and safely...because even though people say wrestling is "fake" it's still dangerous and painful. Cardio is also very important too!

WW: What do you consider to be your most important strength/asset in the ring?
Thunderkitty: My fierce-ness. Is that a word?

WW: Any plans for the future?
Thunderkitty: Just keep wrestling. I try to set small goals for myself..I tell myself that I'm going to be better than I was last month or I'm going to improve this or I'm gonna learn this...and stuff like that.

WW: Some time ago we received an email from a young girl who wanted to become a female wrestler and wanted advice from us. What advice would you give to those looking to make it in the sport?
Thunderkitty: It's something you have to commit to. Learn as much as you can. Grow thick skin because people are going to say mean things about you. Most importantly, don't give up.

WW: When you’re not wrestling or working out, how do you enjoy spending your time?
Thunderkitty: I like reading comics, shopping at swap meets/thrift stores, hanging out with my dog, drawing, painting, and hanging out with friends.
