LPWA - Ladies Professional wrestling association. Founded in 1989 by Tor Berg, the LPWA is wildly popular nowadays with fans of classic ladies wrestling. As shiny lycra spandex was in its heyday back then, the LPWA featured some truly awesome attires, and some equally awesome talent like: Malia Hosaka, Denise Storm, Rustee the Fox Thomas, Madusa Micelli, Magnificent Mimi, Alma Alvarez, Cindy Paradise and Cheryl Rusa.

In this promotion, the main accent was on the wrestling itself not on the ring-side antics and this resulted in much better quality matches. LPWA champions were Susan Sexton (1990), Lady X (1991) and Terri Power (1992). Team America (Heidi Lee Morgan and Misty Blue Simms) held the Tag Team Titles in 1990, and the Glamour Girls (Judy Martin and Leilani Kai) in 1991.
