The magical world of female wrestling is a fine mix of glamour and action. Take either out of the equation and you have but an empty shell left, with close to 0 entertainment value.
The glamour part comes a courtesy of the shimmery-shiny striking outfits which exclaim “ I can beat you and look good doing it!”, the action part comes as a result of hard training, acquired skills and natural ring prowess.

Glamour is easily achievable, skill and prowess though are much harder to come by. It takes the lady wrestlers talent, dedication and countless hours of training to expand their wrestling holds arsenal and to bring you that acrobatic and sensual spectacle which keeps you glued to your computer or TV screen.

Female wrestling holds can be split into three categories:

Throws (like bodyslams, suplexes and a variety of other high-risk moves) require a perfect harmony and cooperation between the victim and the attacker. Getting a move like this wrong can result in injury, so please, if you’re training to be a wrestlerette do not try to imitate the moves presented below unless you’re filled in on how to do them by a professional.

Submission holds are some of the sexiest moves in women’s wrestling. These are sometimes simple sometimes intricate combinations of locks, grips and holds meant to break down the willpower of the defending wrestlerette and to make her surrender the match. According to most female wrestlers, a win by a submission is worth much more psychologically than one via a pin.
Exercise caution while practicing these submission holds, they too can result in injury if applied irresponsibly.
